Walk with Medicine in Guatemala…

A full day held in silence and prayer to gather inwards ones meditation and contemplation. Usually it will consist of several chapters, altars and points of power along the way as the pilgrimage progresses.

In Guatemala we enter into the valley to open and meet four specific sacred altars and make our offerings to the elements. It is a highly transformative day to apply one's whole self to the sacred work. Huachuma, Aguacolla or San Pedro is a cactus religiously invoked in Latin America and around the world for its wisdom and embodied teachings. Affectionately known sometimes as the Grand-Father, Huachuma often leads one into deeper states of calm, clarity and mental stability while enhancing the heart of our life and the appreciation of that life.
