Casa Floresta is the home of Hayley & Jayaji and their children, with a beautiful 11m diameter Lake Temple available on the lake shore. We offer Retreat Center facilities in conjunction with accommodations next door at Casa Colibri and also offer the Lake Temple for Events.

Retreat Rental 2024

Starting in 2024, Casa Floresta and Casa Colibri will be offering retreat rental to groups wishing to host with us.

We can offer a cook, two meals, smoothie & snack per day, Lake Temple rental and accommodation at Casa Colibri for $160 per person per night shared. Casa Colibri has 8 bedrooms and can sleep up to 18 people, we also offer the Guest Room at Casa Floresta for facilitators.

How to Arrive to Casa Floresta from Guatemala City’s La Aurora International Airport:

Private car or collective shuttle to Panajachel, Lake Atitlan
Private boat (15mins) or public boat (35-50mins) to Casa Floresta dock

We highly recommend using a private driver, it’s the easiest, fastest and safest.

Martha will coordinate all of the traveling and connection between car & boat if you book both through her.

Car Pricing: Q550 ($70) one person, Q650 ($83) two, Q750 ($96) three, Q800 ($102) four; private cars up to four people. Many of the cars are quite old - ask for a nicer car.

Mini Bus Pricing: (up to 10 people) - Q1200 ($155)

Boat Pricing: Private Q250 - 350 ($32 - 44) depending on the number of people. Public boat will charge Q25.

This Company has both private and shared rides with daily departures from the Airport to Panajachel at specific times of the day.

The price of the shared shuttle is around $23 from the Airport to Panajachel and then you can catch the public boat and ask the boat driver to stop at the Casa Floresta dock of Pasajcap, San Marcos or another town of your choice around the lake.

Private shuttles to/from Pana to the Airport ranges from Q800-1200 depending on the size, number of people and type of shuttle. We prefer the H1 shuttle for Q900 for the most comfort for two people, and generally prefer this over Martha’s cars.
